Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an inpatient coder to accurately assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses and ICD-10-PCS procedures for hospital encounters. The role supports data quality and coding integrity across inpatient accounts.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of inpatient hospital coding experience and holds RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CIC certifications. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines is required.

Provides accurate and timely assignment of appropriate ICD-10 diagnostic and PCS procedural codes on the medical records for the purpose of collecting and indexing quality health information for inpatient hospital encounters.
Experience 3 years of experience in a hospital inpatient setting.
