Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Coder who will ensure accurate documentation, coding (CPT/HCPCS/ICD10) and billing of services provided in ambulatory settings. Under the supervision of the Ambulatory Coding Manager, you will provide feedback and guidance to providers on coding and documentation practices to improve accuracy and compliance.

Must be a member of AAPC or AHIMA and credentialed as CCS-P, CPC, or COC; CRC credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• CCS-P/CPC/COC credentials required.
• Must be a member of AAPC or AHIMA.
• Experience with CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and medical billing.

Under the general supervision of the Ambulatory Coding Manager, the primary function of the coder is to ensure accurate documentation, coding (CPT/HCPCS/ICD10) and billing of service provided. The coder provides feedback, insight and guidance to providers regarding their coding and documentation practices. The coding position helps to insure compliance with established coding guidelines, third party and governmental policies, regulations and guidelines. Must be a member of AAPC or AHIMA. Must be credentialed as CCS-P, CPC, COC. Credentialed as CRC is preferred.
