Job summary

City of Artesia, CA is seeking a code enforcement professional to perform inspections and investigations of municipal code compliance, zoning regulations, and nuisance issues. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in related fields is desirable.
• 1 year of experience in code enforcement, compliance, customer service, investigations, or related field with independent responsibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections related to zoning, nuisances, property maintenance, and compliance with municipal codes.
• Respond to homeless-related service requests and coordinate with outreach teams and law enforcement.
• Maintain accurate records, notices, citations, and case documentation; prepare reports for hearings and prosecutions.
