Responsibilities

• Receive and manage inbound calls related to code violations (e.g., property maintenance, nuisance issues).
• Monitor and respond to online service requests and citizen-reported concerns.
• Document all customer interactions and service requests in tracking systems.
• Explain violations, processes, timelines, and compliance requirements to residents.
• Coordinate with Code Enforcement Officers to relay information and updates.
• Work with internal departments and external partners to resolve violations.
• Provide status updates to callers and digital requestors on open cases.
• Review citizen-reported issues submitted through reporting apps and ensure routing.
• De-escalate difficult customers and maintain professional, solution-oriented approach.
• Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to supervisors.
• Maintain organized records and timely follow-up on cases.
