Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigates and responds to complaints about city code violations and notifies property owners.
• Performs routine inspections of properties for safety standards, zoning codes, and ordinances.
• Answers inquiries concerning city code and zoning questions and pursues complaints as needed.
• Interacts with supervisors and other City departments on questionable cases.
• Maintains reports and records for inspections and code compliance; prepares notices and referrals.
• Takes photographs and gathers evidence for code violation hearings.
