Job summary

The City of Fayetteville is recruiting for a Code Enforcement Administrator in the Solid Waste Division of the Public Services Department to perform field inspections of curbside issues, ensure compliance with solid waste ordinances, and conduct public education on waste management practices.

Responsibilities include issuing notices and citations, coordinating with other departments, and collecting data to optimize Solid Waste collections.

Qualifications

• One year of municipal code enforcement or governmental regulatory inspection experience.
• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in, code enforcement, law enforcement, construction technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Inspect curbside issues and enforce applicable solid waste ordinances and regulations.
• Review and issue notices, fines and citations to non-complying residential property owners.
• Collect and display data for route optimization of Solid Waste collections.
• Coordinate outreach and education regarding curbside and waste management policies.
• Participate in travel within City limits for inspections and site investigations.
