Job summary

ECS Florida, LLC is seeking an experienced professional to oversee code-compliance projects, review plans, and provide technical support. You will conduct inspections, monitor performance and budgets, and participate in marketing and client interactions.

The role also entails mentoring fellow inspectors and supporting business development efforts. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in code-compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, plus ICC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• ICC B2, M2, P2, E2 certifications required.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Manage code-compliance projects including plan reviews, technical support, inspections, and budget monitoring.
• Mentor and train other building inspectors.
• Support P&L, market services, and client relations activities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• This position involves project management of code compliance projects, including reviewing plans, providing technical support, conducting inspections, monitoring project process for performance and budgetary conditions, proposal preparation, as well as attending project site meetings, and assisting with the resolution of technical and administrative problems
• In this position you will be expected to mentor and train other building inspectors
• Responsibilities also include assisting with management of P & L, marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions, and participating in marketing and business development functions related to code inspections

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review
• Must have valid ICC certification B2, M2, P2, E2
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required
