Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Code Compliance Project Manager to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Baltimore, MD. The role involves leading code inspection projects, plan reviews, and client engagement, with a focus on mentorship and problem solving.

Qualified candidates will have Maryland Master Electrician licensure, 5+ years in code inspection or construction, and ICC certifications (B2/M2/P2/E2) or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review preferred; or 5 years in construction industry.
• Maryland Master Electrician license required.
• At least one ICC certification: B2, M2, P2, E2 or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage code compliance projects, review plans, provide technical support, conduct inspections, monitor progress and budget, prepare proposals, attend site meetings, and assist with technical/administrative resolution.
• Mentor and train other building inspectors.
• Assist with management of P&L and market services by nurturing client interactions and participating in marketing and business development efforts.
