Prep Cooks play a vital role in the kitchen, responsible for organizing ingredients and equipment before and during service to ensure smooth operations. Your tasks include chopping, breaking down, cutting, weighing, mixing, washing, storing, and preparing ingredients to keep the kitchen efficient and well-stocked.

Responsibilities
  1. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  2. Prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  3. Manage product rotation and stock levels to prevent disruptions.
  4. Assist in setting up and stocking stations.
  5. Transport items and assist with deliveries.
  6. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area during and after shifts.
  7. Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  8. Stand and walk for the duration of shifts, and reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
  9. Communicate effectively in English, reading recipes, labels, and POS tickets.
  10. Operate kitchen machinery safely and handle hot and sharp items responsibly.
  11. Lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in high-temperature environments.
  12. Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks.
  13. Complete food safety certification as required.
