Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Elgin, IL is seeking a Cocktail Server to walk the casino floor, take beverage requests, and deliver drinks with outstanding guest service.

The role requires 21+ years of age, prior serving experience, and ability to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Prior serving experience required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
• Must have alcohol awareness training and be certified.
• Able to be physically mobile and stand/walk during shifts.
• Able to move around in small spaces and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Requires bending, stooping, pushing, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity; work well with others and handle stress.

A cocktail server is responsible for walking the casino floor and take requests for beverages. Providing beverages to guests while maintaining exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Give prompt, pleasant, courteous and efficient service.
• Always utilize alcohol awareness training while acknowledging all guests with a prompt and friendly greeting
• Anticipate all guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
• Verify legal drinking age of guests.
• Complete all side work duties and ensure work area is prepared for succeeding shift.
• Offer a unique service while sustaining a level of professionalism that encourages guests to return.
• Other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $9.00 per hour + tips
