Job Description

To provide efficient, friendly customer service at all times and maintain a clean, professional appearance. Ensure service bar and bar guests are satisfied promptly and courteously.

Responsibilities

1. Properly set up and maintain a clean, efficient service area throughout the shift.
2. Provide guest services following the Moments of Service guidelines.
3. Ring orders into Micros and deliver them to tables.
4. Transport food orders from the kitchen to the bar and return dishes to the kitchen.
5. Check back with guests regularly.
6. Keep all supplies stocked.
7. Clean, clear, and reset service areas.
8. Protect the hotel from liability by responsible alcohol service.
9. Complete all duties assigned by the manager.
10. Assist the bartender as needed.
11. Ensure tables are properly set up.
12. Help guests locate other hotel areas and escort them if possible.
13. Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
14. Familiarize with food and drink menus.
15. Adhere to cash handling standards.
16. Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality and asset protection.
17. Follow safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in a service bar environment preferred.
• Valid TABC permit or ability to obtain one.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury hotel lobby bar environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
