Job Description

The role involves providing friendly, efficient customer service, maintaining a professional appearance, and ensuring guest satisfaction at the service bar.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain a clean, efficient service area during the shift
  • Deliver exceptional guest service following the Moments of Service guidelines
  • Ring orders into Micros and deliver them to tables
  • Transport food from kitchen to bar and return dishes to the kitchen
  • Check back with guests regularly
  • Keep supplies stocked and service areas clean, clear, and reset
  • Protect the hotel from liability by responsibly serving alcohol
  • Complete duties assigned by the manager
  • Assist bartenders as needed
  • Ensure tables are properly set up
  • Help guests find other hotel areas or walk them to destinations if possible
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions
  • Familiarize with food and drink menus
  • Adhere to cash handling standards
  • Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality and asset protection
  • Follow safety and security policies, report incidents, and complete training
Qualifications
  • Previous serving experience preferred
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in a service bar environment preferred
  • Valid TABC permit or ability to obtain one
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury hotel lobby bar
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
