Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong experience with CockroachDB or distributed databases.
• PostgreSQL, Oracle, Exadata, Redis administration.
• Kubernetes concepts and containerized database management.
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Python scripting.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Linux administration.
• Production support and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and administer CockroachDB and PostgreSQL environments.
• Manage Oracle, Exadata, and Redis databases.
• Deploy and manage containerized databases using Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop Python automation scripts and API integrations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure database security, reliability, and high availability.
• Handle L2/L3 production support and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams.
