Job summary

Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company, seeks a Cockpit Lead Systems Engineer to direct cockpit projects for VH-3D, VH-60N, and VH-92A. You will oversee acquisition, development, integration, testing, certification, and sustainment of cockpit and avionics systems onsite in Maryland.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, mitigate technical risks, and liaison with government, Fleet, PMA-274, and industry partners to ensure program success and FAA/Navy airworthiness compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with avionics subsystems and cockpit/avionics technologies.
• Familiarity with FAA airworthiness certification processes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across government, Fleet, engineering and industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership for cockpit systems across VH aircraft.
• Develop and manage technical roadmaps for cockpit projects and obsolescence planning.
• Review design changes and manage integration challenges with program teams.
• Support FAA/Navy airworthiness, Cybersafe processes, and SETR documentation.
• Lead engineering teams and coordinate with PMA-274 and industry partners.
