Job summary

Moon Valley Grill in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our busy kitchen. This role requires hands-on experience on the grill and fryer, and the ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining high food quality.

You’ll work with our locally owned neighborhood restaurant team, focusing on consistent plate presentation, correct temperatures, and timely service. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent line cook experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Hands-on grill and fryer experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and coordinate cooking times.
• Knowledge of proper food preparation, temperatures, and sanitation.
• Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and other menu items to our standards.
• Work grill and fryer stations efficiently and confidently.
• Keep ticket times moving without sacrificing food quality.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation.

Moon Valley Grill is a locally owned neighborhood bar & grill looking for an experienced Line Cook who can step onto the line and get the job done.

We're looking for someone who knows how a professional restaurant kitchen operates, can manage multiple orders, and takes pride in serving great food consistently.

This is NOT an entry-level or training position. Prior hands-on experience cooking on the line in a full-service restaurant is required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 2 years of recent line cook experience in a full-service restaurant — REQUIRED
• Hands-on grill and fryer experience — REQUIRED
• Ability to independently prepare and execute orders during busy service
• Experience managing multiple tickets and coordinating cooking times
• Knowledge of proper food preparation, temperatures, and sanitation
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain portion control, and deliver consistent quality
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others
• Availability for evenings, weekends as scheduled
• Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one
