Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage COBOTs daily to improve line uptime.
• Evaluate efficiency and reliability of industrial Cobot systems; work with engineering for reprogramming or calibrating to maximize quantity and quality.
• Restart Cobots from full inventory conditions and short cycle stops.
• Perform routine PMs on all equipment as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot and repair Cobots and other equipment to keep production moving.
• Work with engineers and quality associates to ensure end products meet customer standards.
• Assist in implementing Zira work system tablets with engineering to ensure production metrics are recorded.

Summary

Tends one or more machine tools, special-purpose machines, or industrial COBOT to machine metal workpieces to specifications on a production basis by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervise and manage COBOTs daily to improve line uptime.

Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial Cobot systems, and work with engineering for reprogramming or calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality.

Restart Cobots as needed from full inventory conditions and short cycle stops.

Perform routine PMs on all equipment as scheduled.

Trouble shoot and repair Cobots and other equipment to keep the production line moving.

Work with engineers and quality associates to ensure the end product meets customer standards.

Work with engineering to install, program, troubleshoot, and repair automated Cobots and other automated equipment.

Inspect the product to ensure all quality specifications are met.

Make sure all safety procedures, regulations, and all company policies are followed by state and federal law.

Assist in implementing Zira work system tablets with engineering to ensure all production metrics are accurately recorded.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school certification in Robotics. Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical/Mechanical Technology preferred; or 2 years related manufacturing experience. Mechanical aptitude

Language Skills

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
