Job summary

HMH is seeking a dedicated painter for our Houston, TX facility. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and inspect finished work to ensure quality. The role requires reading instructions, following blueprints, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of industrial painting experience, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Overtime may be required; benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant painting experience in industrial/manufacturing settings preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as required.
• Mix paints, coatings, and other finishing materials according to manufacturer specs.
• Apply paint or protective coatings using spray guns or approved methods.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain painting equipment and ensure tools are clean and in good condition.
• Follow production schedules, meet productivity goals, and uphold 5S housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations and PPE usage.
