Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Billings, MT is seeking a skilled worker for painting, sandblasting and coating applications on exterior and interior surfaces. You will follow safety and quality policies while performing surface prep, coating application and product inspection to meet specs.

The role requires handling materials, operating a forklift and an overhead crane, with overtime and weekend flexibility as needed. Training in SDS, product data sheets and proper techniques is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of painting/sandblasting/coating experience.
• Ability to read SDS and Product Data Sheets.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Safe and quality-focused with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality policies.
• Train in surface prep using blast and solvent cleaning and coating application.
• Read SDS and Product Data Sheets.
• Follow verbal or written instructions and procedures.
• Assist in loading/unloading of product onto flatbeds/trailers.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
• Maintain prompt and dependable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
