Qualifications

• Knowledge of production and processing, quality control, costs, and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Mathematics and statistics for production planning and control.
• Understanding of management principles for strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of training design, teaching, and measurement of training effects.
• Customer service principles and understanding customer needs.
• Design principles for production of precision plans, blueprints, and models.
• Proficiency in English language structure, spelling, grammar.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production, processing, distribution, and activities of the organization.
• Review schedules and orders to decide production priorities, staffing, and procedures.
• Consult with staff to resolve production problems and optimize quality.
• Develop tracking and quality control systems to detect issues.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff and manage grievances.
• Set product standards and inspect samples to ensure quality.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
• Coordinate maintenance or modification of facilities and equipment.
• Initiate cost-control programs and scrap reduction.
