Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems seeks a Product Specialist to be a technical resource for the market sales team. This remote-based role supports all Axalta products across segments to promote growth and customer loyalty, contributing to sales growth and customer satisfaction.

The position requires up to 75% travel across the Northeast US from home office. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in the coatings industry, strong communication and training skills, and the ability to work as a team member

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced sales-support environment.
• Experience in technical product support and training for distributors or customers is a plus.
• Ability to train and certify technicians and to troubleshoot product issues.

Responsibilities

• Develops, trains and supports distributor personnel to meet customer needs.
• Lead customer installations and troubleshoot technical issues across Axalta brands.
• Conducts educational events and trainings to optimize product performance and profitability.
• Maintain safety awareness and promote proper use of protective equipment.
• Collaborates with market teams and contributes ideas in meetings.
• Completes ongoing trainings and certifications for Axalta products.
• Utilizes account management tools to support key accounts and drive growth.
• Travel up to 75% and manage selling expenses within budget.
• Stay current with industry trends and customer needs.
