Job summary

UW Solutions in McKees Rocks, PA is seeking a dependable Manufacturing Process Operator to join our production team. You will operate and monitor coating equipment, follow established procedures, and adjust processes to keep production safe and efficient.

You will measure raw materials, monitor temperatures and pressures, collect samples, and make adjustments based on results while maintaining accurate logs and adhering to safety guidelines. Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with equipment, measurements, and production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Good basic math and problem solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and around coating materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mixing tanks, heating vessels, conveyors, and other production equipment.
• Measure and add raw materials according to production specifications.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates, gauges, and process controls.
• Collect product samples and perform basic testing to verify quality.
• Make process adjustments based on test results and equipment readings.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, hazards, or other issues.
• Maintain accurate production and equipment logs.
• Follow safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Work with the production team to maintain quality and meet production goals.
