Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Polyester Film Americas is seeking personnel to monitor and control coatings batch operations, ensuring solutions are prepared and equipment functions properly. You will assist line operators, perform routine testing, and maintain housekeeping across multiple film lines.

The role requires hands-on work with chemicals, strong safety awareness, and the ability to adapt to rotating 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from a U.S. accredited school.
• 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment.
• Comfortable working with chemicals.
• Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and troubleshoot coatings batch operations & equipment.
• Ensure coatings solutions are prepared and coatings equipment is cleaned.
• Assist film line operators in trouble shooting quality issues.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of coating equipment.
• Routine sample testing of solutions.
• Coordinate coating changeovers for multiple film lines.
• Operate in day-to-day operations and housekeeping.
• Transport coating materials via forklift.
