Job summary

A quality control service provider in Cleveland is seeking a Coatings Inspector to perform inspections for bridge painting projects. The ideal candidate must have NACE CIP I-III and/or SSPC BCI certifications, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills. Responsibilities include preparing detailed reports and ensuring conformance to all plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• NACE CIP I-III and/or SSPC BCI 1 & 2 certifications are mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections for bridge painting projects.

Coatings Inspector

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Perform inspections for bridge painting projects to ensure conformance to all plans and specifications
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting job site progress and findings
• Other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• NACE CIP I-III and/or SSPC BCI 1 & 2 certifications are a must
• Qualified candidate must have a valid driver’s license and retain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Ability to read and understand plans and direction given in the English language
• Basic computer skills
  • Ability to create and/or edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents
  • Ability to create and/or edit Microsoft Exchange emails with attachments
  • Ability to create and/or edit PDF documents
• ODOT Work Type 26 (Structural Steel Painting)
• ODOT Work Type 57 (Sealing of Concrete Surfaces)
• Experience with Site Manager, Go Formz, Mobile Inspector is a plus
