Job summary

ATCS, Inc. is expanding its Construction Services group in Maryland, seeking Coating Inspectors with NACE Level I or II certification to support highway, bridge and facilities projects across the state.

Inspectors will perform field coating inspections on steel and concrete structures, maintain logs and photos, and coordinate with field crews and engineers. Travel statewide is required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time coatings inspection experience.
• NACE Level I Coating Inspection Certification required; Level II preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel throughout Maryland.
• A vehicle in good working condition to report for work at sites.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of protective coating systems on steel and concrete structures for highway, bridge and facilities type projects
• Maintain accurate inspection records, daily logs, and photographic documentation
• Coordinate with field crews, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure compliance
• Support Quality Assurance initiatives
