Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) and UESI seeks qualified Coatings Inspectors to work on projects in the Central Pennsylvania region. The role emphasizes inspecting contractor work, producing daily reports, and ensuring compliance with containment and safety standards.

Applicants should have AMPP/BCI certifications, coatings experience, and strong computer skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required. E-Verify participation noted.

Qualifications

• AMPP certification or higher in coatings inspection preferred.
• BCI Level 2 or higher certification preferred.
• Experience with coatings and containment systems is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel required.
• Lead training (SSPC C-3) preferred; OSHA training beneficial.
• Coatings-specific certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify contractor conformance with contract specifications or applicable standards.
• Prepare daily inspection reports on conditions, progress, weather, and acceptability of work.
• Oversee containment systems, waste collection, storage, and disposal.
• Travel, as necessary.
• Work various shifts (day/night) depending on specified projects.
• Express interest in cross-training in various construction fields.
