The Entwistle Company is seeking a skilled Coating Technician to build a long-term career in a collaborative, innovative environment. You will help deliver mission-critical defense components modeling national and global security.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork and precision in coating operations. Responsibilities include prepping parts, blasting, applying primers and topcoats, and maintaining equipment.

Competenze

• Background in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience with abrasive blasting and spray-painting.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and mixing ratios.
• Willingness to train and become qualified in thermal flame spray operations.
• Attention to safety and accurate record-keeping.

Mansioni

• Clean, sand and mask parts to prepare them for blasting and coating.
• Perform abrasive blasting to achieve the required cleanliness and profile.
• Mix and apply primers, topcoats, and other protective coatings as assigned.
• Complete flame spray training and qualification before performing flame spray work independently.
• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment used in assigned operations.
• Follow work instructions, product data sheets, company procedures and applicable job specifications.
• Check and record daily environmental conditions, surface profile, and coating thickness as required.
• Complete production records accurately as needed.
• Move between assignments as priorities change and assist other team members.
• Follow safety procedures, use required PPE, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Industrial or manufacturing background with abrasive blasting and spray-painting experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of surface preparation, masking and protective coating application.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, mixing ratios and job requirements.
• Ability to complete daily production records.
• Willingness to train and become qualified in thermal flame spray operations.
• Adaptability and the ability to work across multiple processes as needed.
• Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, including willingness to accept feedback.
• No formal coating certification is needed.
• Forklift experience preferred, company training available.
