Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a Coating Quality Supervisor to lead the coating quality management system across multiple fabrication facilities.

You will ensure compliance with AISC CCS, AMPP/SSPC standards, and customer requirements, driving standardization and audit readiness. You will supervise coating operations, inspectors, and production teams, overseeing surface prep, coating application, inspection, and documentation, while coordinating with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Project

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 8+ years in structural steel with 5+ years in coatings QC in an AISC CCS-certified shop.
• AMPP Coating Inspector Level II certification is essential.
• AWS Welding Inspector certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve the Coating Quality Management System.
• Provide technical oversight of surface preparation, coatings, curing, inspection, and repair.
• Lead coating-related corrective actions and root-cause investigations.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and assessments to verify coating procedures.
• Review contract documents to identify coating-specific risks and requirements.
• Establish KPIs related to coating quality, productivity, and compliance.
