Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior coatings inspector to lead coating program quality across projects. You will review specifications, assess inspections and test plans, and advise owners and engineers on system selection and life-cycle maintenance.

Requires AMPP/NACE CIP Level 3 with 8+ years in coatings inspection, including supervision; PCS preferred; broad experience across industrial, water, marine, and infrastructure coatings.

Qualifications

• AMPP (NACE) CIP Level 3 certificate current.
• 8+ years of coatings inspection including supervision.
• Coating failure investigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and write coating specifications, inspection and test plans.
• Investigate coating failures: field sampling, lab coordination, findings.
• Audit applicators and coating suppliers; supervise Level 1 and 2 inspectors.
• Advise owners/engineers on coating systems, life, and maintenance.
