The position requires physical capability, English literacy, and the ability to work standard and non-standard hours in a manufacturing setting with loud temperatures.

Qualifications

• Attendance and dependability with willingness to work non-standard hours.
• Ability to handle work-related stress and maintain productive interactions.
• English literacy (oral and written).
• Physical requirements: standing, lifting up to 70 pounds, bending and reach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with STA employees to maintain a safe and productive operation.
• Follow procedures to maximize material production and minimize scrap and defects.
• Follow the production schedule and ensure correct materials and adhesives are used.
• Check machine settings and oven temperatures; assign tasks and inspect stations.
• Perform setup inspections before production; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Operate chiller and inspect Anilox roll; label and store correctly.
• Identify defective areas on jumbo rolls and use materials efficiently.
• Maintain daily notes and data entry; label manufactured rolls correctly.
• Train coater personnel; operate and inspect lift trucks safely.
• Notify supervision of repairs needed and request maintenance; keep area clean.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; perform additional duties as required.
