Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Coating Operator in Mesa, AZ. You will resurface and texturize customer-supplied parts using a spray nozzle per work orders, ensuring finishes meet specifications.

The role requires operating blasting equipment, reading blueprints, performing basic measurements, and maintaining safety, quality and timeliness in a controlled environment. Day shift 6:00–2:30 pm with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient at operating a blasting nozzle.
• Know proper blasting pressures as they relate to specifications for any particular part(s).
• Ability to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging.
• Knowledge of how to read and understand prints.
• Has basic math and measurement skills
• Understands warping of parts along with acceptable roughness measurements and how to take such measurements.
• Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areas

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Safety

Employee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements

Work Environment

Must be able to function well in an office environment. Must also be able to work in a controlled chemical and wastewater environment. Must also be able to perform in a laboratory environment. Persons who are sensitive to chemical environments with such medical conditions as asthma, allergies, or extreme sensitivity to chemicals may not be considered as good candidates for this position.

Physical Demands

Must pass Company required screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage. Should be able to pick-up 40 lbs on occasional or regular basis.
