Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Coating Operator to resurface and texturize customer-supplied parts using a spray nozzle. Work involves following work orders, preparing surfaces, and ensuring timely processing with close collaboration across departments.

The role requires reading prints, basic math skills, careful handling of parts, and a strong safety mindset in a controlled chemical and wastewater environment. This is a full-time on-site position in Mesa, AZ.

We offer highly competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. **Job SummaryAs a Coating Operator, you will work to resurface and texturize customer supplied parts using a spray nozzle as specified by work order instructions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:Prepare surfaces by selecting appropriate media and settings based on material type and desired finish.Blast parts with some deposition and surfacing parts to specific specifications.Understand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the team to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts within this team.Work closely with the other departments regarding reworking and communication for incoming/outgoing parts.Interact with other blasters regarding jobs that require more than one person to complete.Must be proficient at operating a blasting nozzle.Know proper blasting pressures as they relate to specifications for any particular part(s).Ability to be able to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging.Knowledge of how to read and understand prints.Has basic math and measurement skillsUnderstands warping of parts along with acceptable roughness measurements and how to take such measurements.Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctualityMaintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areasSafety:Employee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirementsWork Environment:Must be able to function well in an office environment. Must also be able to work in a controlled chemical and wastewater environment. Must also be able to perform in a laboratory environment. Persons who are sensitive to chemical environments with such medical conditions as asthma, allergies, or extreme sensitivity to chemicals may not be considered as good candidates for this position.Physical Demands:Must pass Company required screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage.
