Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Coating Operator to set up, operate, and monitor production equipment in a manufacturing environment. Training is provided, with work completed under close supervision and detailed instructions.

Shift: Alternating shift – Monday-Thursday 6PM-6AM and Monday-Wednesday 6PM-6AM. A HS Diploma or GED is required to qualify for this role, and Qnity offers a comprehensive pay and benefits package along with equal employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and follows emergency procedures as necessary.
• May rotate through various production/process equipment operator roles.
• Works with clearly defined methods and tasks that are described in detail.
• Some experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.

Candidates should be comfortable working with detailed instructions in a team-oriented setting. Training is provided, and work is completed under close supervision.
