Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Chemroom Operator on the day shift (6-2:30pm) to clean and refurbish parts used in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will follow processes to chemical clean, etch and/or passivate parts, and use tools to finish to specification. Responsibilities include reading work orders, maintaining safety and quality standards, and preparing parts for processing while working in a fast-paced environment with strict process times and controlled chemical

Qualifications

• Experience in parts cleaning is a plus.
• Attention to detail required.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

We offer highly competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. **Position Summary:As a Chemroom Operator at Pentagon, you will perform various tasks to clean and refurbish parts used in semiconductor chip manufacturing. You will follow processes to chemical clean, etch and/or passivate parts, and will also use various tools and equipment to accomplish a consistent finish.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:Follow all safety protocols and assist in promoting a safe cultureFollow all quality protocols to meet customer specificationsRead and comprehend internal documents such as work order travelers, inventory records, and logsVisually inspect parts for cosmetic defects per customer or internal criteriaPrepare parts for chemical processing using fixtures or hangers ensuring minimal opportunity for damage to productManual or mechanical assisted loading of parts into chemical tanks ensuring process times are achievedUse various tools and equipment such as jitterbugs, sanders, detail brushes, pressure washers, and other items to detail the part according to specificationOperate a hoist as needed for lifting and moving heavy objectsMultitask to process multiple parts simultaneously while adhering to process standardsMaintain clean and orderly work environment including tasks on the daily housekeeping checklistYour Experiences, Skills, and Abilities:Previous experience in parts cleaning is a plusAttention to detail1 year experience in manufacturing desiredAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment requiring quick turnaroundSafety:Employee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements.Work Environment:Must be able to work in a group environment and be a self-starter. Must be able to work in a controlled arsenic environment. Must be able to perform in noisy, moist, or wet, and hazardous materials environments with standard protection devices. Must be able to handle necessary tools to perform tasks, including manual and mechanized material handling equipment for moving heavy loads through the production environment with little assistance. Must be able to work in a controlled chemical environment. Persons who are sensitive to chemical environments with such medical conditions as asthma, allergies, or extreme sensitivity to chemicals may not be considered as good candidates for this position.Physical Demands:Must pass Company required screening tests. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
