Staff Management | SMX in White, GA seeks an experienced Coating Operator for a temp-to-hire role. The position offers a Monday-Thursday early shift (4:00 AM–2:30 PM) with overtime possible on Fridays. Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour and includes weekly pay and benefits.

You will perform coating operations, verify quality, operate and monitor equipment, and support the production line with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Able to follow instructions and read blueprints.
• Two years of painting experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs coating tasks including hanging and powder coating with supervision.
• Receives and repacks goods and prepares line for production.
• Keeps coating line production-ready and checks parameter settings.
• Inspects products and carries out quality checks.
• Cleans spray booth and maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Operates equipment and monitors the production process.
• Maintains and archives project data and material handling.

Staff Management is seeking an experienced Coating Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in White, GA. The pay is $20-$24 per hour, with a Monday through Thursday schedule from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM . Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour

Duties:

• Performs operational tasks, including moving, hanging, powder coating, taking down and checking goods without supervision
• Receives and repacks goods
• Makes the coating line production-ready
• Correctly hangs and removes products
• Checks parameter settings
• Inspects products and carries out quality checks
• Cleans the spray booth
• Adjusts the coating line speed
• Monitors the production process
• Detects quality faults, breakdowns and production errors
• Monitors the production process
• Administrates and archives project data
• touches up the materials by spraying them manually
• works with an automated system and uses internal materials handling equipment, both manually operated and motorized
• works on series of products and the tasks are of a routine nature

Position Requirements:

• Must have forklift certification
• Must be able to follow and understand instructions
• Ability to work Safe and knowledge of OSHA regulations
