Job summary

Schneller-LL in Delaware is seeking an entry-level Coating Operator to safely operate the wind-up function at the end of the coating process. You will set up, adjust, and monitor wind-up equipment to maintain tension, taper, and overall quality while following safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will inspect materials, document production and inventory, and support a clean, collaborative workspace with strong teamwork and clear communication.

Job description

The Coating Operator plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, on-time production by safely and efficiently operating the wind-up function at the end of the coating process. This position is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and monitoring wind-up equipment to maintain proper material tension, taper, and overall quality while adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Coating Operator inspects raw and finished materials, handles tools and materials using appropriate equipment, completes required production and inventory documentation, and maintains a clean, organized work area. Strong teamwork, clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to company values are essential to supporting smooth operations and meeting customer expectations.

This is an entry level position.

Starting Pay: Based on experience

3rd Shift

Required Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7pm -5am

Friday: 7pm-3am

Optional Hours:

Saturday or Sunday

Overtime:Available & we are looking for someone eager to work extra hours.
