Schneller is seeking a Coating Operator for the third shift in Ohio. This entry-level role supports the coating line by safely operating wind-up equipment, adjusting tension, and ensuring quality while following safety and regulatory standards.

The position requires reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Lifting up to 40–50 lbs and overtime hours may apply.

Job description

The Coating Operator plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, on-time production by safely and efficiently operating the wind-up function at the end of the coating process. This position is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and monitoring wind-up equipment to maintain proper material tension, taper, and overall quality while adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Coating Operator inspects raw and finished materials, handles tools and materials using appropriate equipment, completes required production and inventory documentation, and maintains a clean, organized work area. Strong teamwork, clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to company values are essential to supporting smooth operations and meeting customer expectations.

This is an entry level position.

Starting Pay: Based on experience

3rd Shift

Required Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7pm -5am

Friday: 7pm-3am

Optional Hours:

Saturday or Sunday

Applicants must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Must be able to lift 40-50lbs

Overtime:Available & we are looking for someone eager to work extra hours.
