Job summary
Silgan is seeking a Coating Litho Engineer in Hazleton, PA to provide technical leadership across coil coating, lithography, oven curing, and related processes. This role supports multiple plants and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and production efficiency.
You will lead improvements, troubleshoot complex equipment, and work with OEM partners to implement new products and processes. Travel up to 50% is required to support Evansville, IN and Richmond, IN plants as well as
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in engineering or related field.
- Significant can manufacturing/coil coating experience may substitute for degree.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to support plants in multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvements for quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Support coil coating, lithography, ovens, oxidizers, and heat recovery systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment and identify root causes of issues.
- Lead equipment installations, audits, and qualification activities.
- Collaborate with plant teams and OEMs to develop manufacturing solutions.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on setup, operation, and safety.
