Job summary

Uponor seeks a dedicated operator to run barrier extrusion, lacquer coating lines and VLD extruders. You will handle maintenance, monitor process and uphold quality standards for barrier, lacquer and VLD extrusion production.

In this role you will work under supervision and with team members to align activities with functional goals, applying lean concepts and continuous improvement to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience or mastery of production, quality or distribution areas.
• 1–2 years teaching or on‑the‑job training experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Lean, ISO Quality Systems, Continuous Improvement, 6-Sigma training; Bronze certification required.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Forklift Certification and Forklift Train the Trainer Certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Operate barrier extrusion, lacquer coating lines and VLD extruders.
• Maintain production processes and ensure quality standards for barrier, lacquer and VLD extrusion.
• Collaborate with leadership; contribute to performance objectives and continuous improvement.

This position is tasked with the operation of barrier extrusion, lacquer coating lines and VLD extruders. These lines consist of screw extruders and different types of dies.
