Job Details

Job Type: Full-time. Work Location: In person. Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off (12‑hour shift). Pay: $20.50‑$27.22 base per hour plus $1 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate computer‑controlled extrusion equipment and perform die (tool) changes, changeovers, and in‑process checks.
• Set up machines, select dies, and change up to 10 dies per day.
• Maintain accurate and legible production reports (hardcopy or electronic).
• Ensure all quality related aspects meet internal and industry (UL, NSF) specifications before shipping or secondary processing.
• Troubleshoot extruders and auxiliary equipment and conduct daily preventative maintenance checks.
• Report and elevate unresolved issues to the Area Lead.
• Move pallets of product safely to proper location.
• Use precision measuring devices to verify pipe dimensions.
• Maintain work area to company 6S standards by keeping tools and equipment in designated areas.
• Collect and submit quality samples as required.
• Participate proactively in lean initiatives to contribute to business success.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Good math skills, including familiarity with the metric system.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to problem‑solve, multitask, prioritize, and pay attention to detail.
• Capacity to work a 12‑hour shift.
• Manufacturing experience of 1–3 years preferred but not required.
