The Coating Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Orange, TX. This position is responsible for inspecting and verifying coatings, paint systems, and insulation applications on aboveground storage tanks and piping syatems to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements. Daily tasks include performing visual and measurable inspections, documenting findings, preparing inspection reports, and coordinating with project managers, supervisors, and craft personnel to resolve quality issues. The Coating Inspector will monitor surface preparation, environmental conditions, coating application processes, and curing times, while supporting continuous improvement in quality control practices. The role also involves promoting safe work practices and participating in pre-job meetings to review coating and insulation requirements.
