Job summary

Coding Products in Kalkaska, MI, is seeking a Coater Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm). Starting pay is $22.75 per hour and includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus with staged payments at hire, 3/6/9 months and after one year.

The role involves safely operating the coating machine, adjusting temperature and speed, performing quality tests, handling materials, and data entry. Overtime and lifting up to 50 lbs are required; benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer/keyboard experience.
• Ability to work overtime/flexible shift as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk regularly.

Responsibilities

• Start/stop coating machine via control panel.
• Align/fasten rollers and blades with hand tools.
• Feed polyester, adjust temp, speed and flow.
• Monitor operation, detect defects, adjust parameters.
• Test thickness and quality, document results.
• Clean equipment between runs and handle materials.
• Move drums/totes of ink using carts and pallet jacks.
• Print run sheets and perform QA data entry.
