Job summary

PPG in Strongsville, OH is looking for a Production Operator to handle the blending of batches and management of industrial coatings manufacturing. Starting pay is $22.52 per hour, with a $1.43 total shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. A $1000 sign-on bonus is also offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy items throughout the day.
• Prior experience in powder coating preferred.
• Ability to obtain a fork-lift license is necessary.
• Capacity to learn large equipment operation.
• Must work independently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Blend and premix batches for production.
• Run extruders and fill shipping containers.
• Assemble equipment for cleaning and production.
• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping.
• Adhere to safety procedures in production.

Skills

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds

Powder coating experience

Tow-motor/forklift experience

Ability to operate large manufacturing equipment

Attention to detail

Thriving in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to wear PPE
