Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Machine Maintenance & Operation Tech to ensure proper operation and maintenance of coater lines, including set-ups, changes, and wash-ups. The role requires attention to safety and quality.

You'll work 6AM–6PM Sun, Mon, Tues with alternating Wednesdays, collaborating with supervision and inspecting teams to maintain clean, organized equipment and records while responding quickly to quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Proper operation and maintenance of coater lines, including set-ups, maintenance, adjustments, change-over’s and wash-ups
• Determine the necessary repairs and restore defective equipment to service with a minimal delay
• Effectively assist supervision with the direction of lower classed trainees and other employees
• Communicate and cooperate with the quality inspectors to assure that a quality product is being produced
• React immediately to negative quality trends
• Prepare and maintain reports and records related to production, quality, efficiency and maintenance
• Maintain the immediate work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following the principles of 5S
• Perform all duties with the highest level of concern for safety for his/herself and other employees while exercising proper care and protection of company property.
• Performs related work and other duties as assigned
