The Quin House in Boston, MA is seeking a part-time Coat Check Attendant to warmly assist members with coats, jackets, briefcases and umbrellas, and to uphold The Quin standards in guest service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience preferred.
• Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
• A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work.
• Ability to understand, read and write in English.
• Detail oriented, good prioritization, time management, organizational and follow up skills.
• Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business.
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
• Ability to follow schedule and ability to perform physical labor.
• Some high school education (grade 9) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and instill a culture and work environment based upon respect; opportunities for staff to learn and grow through training.
• Manage the coat check area and receive, put away and return guest garments from members and guests.
• Safeguard against theft and property damage.
• Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided.
• Assist to investigate and resolve member complaints.
