Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field, with coursework in management.
• Extensive experience in a responsible administrative or management position in municipal government.
• Thorough knowledge of laws and policies governing municipal operations.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus among elected officials and the community, and to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex capital projects with strategic prioritization and timelines.
• Foster intergovernmental relationships and coordinate with state and federal partners.
• Provide executive leadership to Town management under a commission–manager form of government.
• Pursue state and federal grant opportunities to fund major initiatives.
