Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County is seeking an Emergency Department Manager responsible for creating a safe, efficient, patient-centered environment. The role supervises nursing and ancillary staff on assigned shifts, coordinates care with physicians, and drives unit performance.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in nursing, RN licensure in the state of practice, CPR/BLS, ACLS, and at least five years of acute care nursing with leadership experience; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Master's Degree: Preferred.
• Five years' leadership experience: Preferred.
• Two years' experience in acute care nursing in hospital setting: Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff.
• Coordinates daily ED operations with physicians to ensure safe, timely patient care.
• Leads and collaborates with department leaders to meet throughput and satisfaction goals.
