Job summary

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and graduate from an approved program. The role supports a compassionate, patient-centered environment across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program.
• Advanced Resuscitative Certification within six months of hire.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs based on history, exam, and diagnostic data.
• Plan individualized nursing care to meet age-specific needs.
• Provide nursing interventions per the care plan and physician orders.
• Foster a caring and respectful environment for patients and families.
• Utilize health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
• Contribute to department improvement through evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Float to other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
