Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patient needs through history, observation, exams, and diagnostic data, and to provide nursing interventions per the Plan of Care and physician plans. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Active RN license in South Carolina or a compact (multistate) license.
• Active Basic Life Support certification; additional unit certifications per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data.
• Provide nursing interventions aligned with the Plan of Care and physician orders.
• Conduct hourly rounds and maintain service excellence for patients, families, and visitors.
• Promote Evidence Based Practices and participate in system initiatives to grow the department.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by setting goals and pursuing educational offerings.
