Job summary

Elite Transportation is seeking a highly organized Regional Transportation Manager to oversee logistics and operations for our UPSTATE SC transportation services. You will supervise transportation teams and ensure on-time scheduling for Rider and Member trips to Day Centers and medical appointments, addressing issues and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Dispatch experience in transportation, preferably medical/senior care.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Experience with coordinating and scheduling transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle and driver compliance across all locations in the region.
• Manage vehicle maintenance coordination and approve PTO for dispatchers.
• Coordinate daily transportation schedules to ensure timely service.
• Arrange and oversee Will Call trips with MODIVCARE compliance.
• Validate trips and monitor dispatcher hours daily.
• Finalize timecards and communicate PTO/training hours to payroll.
• Lead weekly transportation operations calls and provide feedback.
• Address rider complaints in line with MODIVCARE requirements and document appropriately.
• Log vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate with mechanics.
• Participate in on-call rotation including early mornings, evenings, and some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee vehicle and driver compliance over all locations in your region.
• Oversee all vehicle maintenance in your region Approve PTO for dispatchers and fill in when they are absent.
• Ensure that dispatchers are Coordinating and managing daily transportation schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Arrange and oversee MODIVCARE Will Call trips, ensuring compliance with outlined requirements.
• Validate and approve trips while monitoring Transportation Specialist time worked on a daily basis.
• Finalize timecards weekly and communicate PTO and training hours to payroll.
• HOST weekly transportation operations calls and provide operational feedback.
• Address Rider complaints in compliance with MODIVCARE requirements, gathering necessary documentation.
• Log and report vehicle maintenance concerns, coordinating with mechanics as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including early morning, late evening, and every other Saturday dispatching.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous transportation dispatch experience (preferred), especially in medical or senior transportation.
• Clean driving record (required).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical (required).
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with specialized care needs (preferred).
