MaineHealth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Rockport is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding, team-based practice serving the coastal communities of Knox and Waldo Counties. This position is ideal for a general orthopedic surgeon with a strong interest in knee procedures, who values a collaborative environment and diverse clinical practice.

The role involves clinical and daytime OR responsibilities shared between Rockport and Belfast, ME with 1:10

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required with Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship in knee procedures welcome but not required
• Eligible for licensure in Maine
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

Responsibilities

• General Orthopedics with opportunity to build elective and procedural knee-focused volume
• Clinical and daytime OR responsibilities shared between Rockport and Belfast, ME
• Call coverage includes 1:10 weekend and 1:4 weekday rotations; based out of Rockport, ME
